From Dialogue to Partnership: Scaling the Next Phase of AMR MPTF Action

Launched in 2019 at the 2nd High-level Ministerial Conference on AMR, the AMR Multi-Partner Trust Fund (AMR MPTF) provides a practical mechanism for translating global AMR commitments into country action.

With a footprint across 21 LMICs, the Fund supports country-led One Health implementation, including strong multisectoral governance, surveillance, stewardship, infection and pollution prevention and control, and other core capacities.

Its catalytic financing model is designed to reduce fragmentation, address critical implementation gaps and help unlock complementary domestic and external investment

Against the World Health Summit 2026 theme, “From Crisis to Resilience: Innovating for Health,” this high-level, invitation-only Breakfast Dialogue will explore how catalytic pooled financing can accelerate country-level implementation of AMR commitments in an increasingly constrained global financing environment. Drawing on the AMR MPTF experience, the session will examine how financing can strengthen multisectoral governance, support service delivery and domestic resource mobilization, and foster cross-sector collaboration.
